January’s Teacher of the Month is Ms. Melanie Orr. 

She is the new Art teacher here at Butler and, so far, the students are learning new things from her that they may or may not have known about art. She has been a great teacher and the students love her and her class.

Q: Why did you want to become an art teacher? 

A: Well, I really like art. I really like being able to share art with other people and I really like seeing people do things that they did not realize they could do. 

Q: Do you enjoy teaching? 

A: I love it a whole lot.

Here at Butler, we are so glad to have an excellent Art teacher like Ms.Orr, and we are excited to see what she has planned for the future of Butler Art.
